Aanya is nine. She likes drawing, she is quietly brilliant at mathematics, and she has been waiting longer than any child should for a heart procedure that will let her simply be a child again.
Her family has done everything they can. They have sold what could be sold and borrowed what could be borrowed. The remaining gap is real, and it is closing slowly thanks to people who decided Aanya's story mattered.
